Exercise-1

1. He didn’t come, —- did he call.

2. I drank water, —- I was thirsty.

3. They are poor —- honest.

4. He is tired, —- he is working.

5. She likes to drink tea —- coffee.

6. I wasn’t well, —- I went home.

7. Maybe she is singing —- shouting.

8. Everyone was singing —- dancing.

9. He is tall, —- he is not strong.

10. My car broke down, —- I called a mechanic.

11. We can leave now, —- wait until later.

12. I cannot attend the class, —- I am unwell.

13. She watched a movie —- lost track of time.

14. He is an introvert, —- he likes parties.

15. Seema can’t come to the party, —- can Teena.

Answers-

1. He didn’t come, nor did he call.

2. I drank water, for I was thirsty.
